My Journey

Here you will find a full account of my journey, from beginning... to end. Out of character, this spans from before my character's time before A Realm Reborn all the way to the end of Endwalker. In character, this... this is my legacy. In the words of the great Emet-Selch, remember. Remember that I once lived...I ask for patience as this will span many pages and so the there will be a navigation menu to allow you to navigate easily. As such, this page will be under a constant change. Consider this a work in progress until this paragraph is removed.

I am Azem and my name is Kazumi. I am... the last of my kind: an unsundered soul. Hailing from Amaurot, I was among Venat's inner circle. After the sundering however... my memories were shattered rather than my soul. I placed my faith in Hydaelyn as I did not believe in trying to hold onto a false paradise, believing that it is necessary to live through life and experience all it had to offer—including the pain, suffering, and anguish. For how can one know joy without sorrow? Hope without despair? After the sundering, I was found by Menphina, Guardian of Love. She made her seraph, sent me throughout the world to help unite mankind and to help the Scions in their quest to aid the realm in solving their problems.Everyone has a journey to walk in life. This... this is mine...

Before the Sundering

Before the sundering, Etheirys was a beautiful star with endless possibilities. Amaurot was our capital, a place that I called home. Brimming with incredible creation magicks and innovation, there was naught that we could not do. That began to change however after one day, my beautiful paradise was torn by The Final Days. The skies burned with fire, creation magicks ran rampant and out of control, and I saw my friends die before my very eyes. The Convocation was hell bent on summoning Zodiark to save our star and to make things worse, even after our star was saved and the Final Days averted, they sought to sacrifice even more of the population to bring back their dear friends. I could not approve of this. No paradise is not without its shadows. So I, Azem, left the Convocation, and I was punished for my perceived treachery. They refused to preserve my memories. I also refused Venat's cause, though I was sympathetic to her. I believed however that there had to be a better way than sacrificing souls. That we had come so far yet we should fall so hard...Emet-Selch gave me protection from the sundering, but my memories... my memories were not protected. So it was that the world was sundered and shattered into the source and her thirteen shards, and I was thrown into the abyss until I was to appear... in Eorzea...

Before Meteor

I was not in this realm Before Meteor. I could only hear of the stories that came from before, the horrors that were unleashed by Garlemond when they released Bahamut. I was simply a witness to the aftermath, the utter destruction released upon the land.

Mor Dhona and Coerthas... these lands were most traumatized. But even while this was the case, much of the land was still scarred from the fall of Dalamud.When I came to this land, I was found by the Guardian of Love, Menphina. I knew naught of my history, only that I awoke to a blinding light before me. There she stood in all her radiance, offering her hand to me. I have a feeling that she knew who I was yet she made no mention to me about it. Instead, she offered me her blessing that I might live. She spoke of a being known as Hydaelyn, though at the time I did not know she was my friend Venat, or rather... remember. I accepted her blessing and became Menphina's Seraph.

A Realm Reborn

Soon after I was found by Menphina, I heard a voice in my head."Hear... Feel... Think..."This voice was familiar to me, yet a stranger still as I could not remember who. I felt a yearning to adventure begin to build within me. So it was that I would set off unto the world, seeking to sate that desire.

Biography

Kazumi, holder of the seat of Azem on the Convocation of Fourteen, is traveler of Etheirys and counselor to this star’s people. She listens to those she meets along her travelers and works to solve the problems they have. After the great sundering, though her soul was protected thanks to Emet-Selch and Venat,

her memories and body were shattered. Found by Menphina floating adrift within the rift, she was given a body and made her seraph to give her form once more. Not knowing where she came from or who she was, she was given a purpose: to go forth unto the star and spread her message of love and passion that others may know her radiance. Only after recovering her soul stone from the shade of Hythlodaeus did she finally discover who she was and what her true purpose was.
